⚡ Bitcoin Lightning Wallets (for Zaps)

To send and receive Zaps (small Bitcoin tips) on Nostr, you'll need a Lightning Network enabled wallet. Here are a few options catering to different needs:

  • Primal Wallet (Built-in): The Primal client (Web, iOS, Android) includes a built-in, custodial Lightning wallet, making it very easy to start Zapping without needing a separate app immediately.
  • Coinos Wallet (Web, Mobile): A user-friendly, non-KYC Bitcoin and Lightning wallet accessible via web or mobile app, focused on ease of use.
  • Strike (Mobile, Web - Availability Varies): A popular, regulated option known for its simple interface, allowing users to buy/sell Bitcoin and use the Lightning Network. Good for those comfortable with a trusted company. Check availability in your region.
  • Alby Hub (Advanced): For a self-custodial setup, Alby Hub, offers maximum control for advanced users and node runners.

(Note: Custodial wallets mean the provider holds your Bitcoin keys; non-custodial means you hold them. Choose based on your comfort level and security needs. Non-KYC means no personal identification is required to use the basic wallet features.)
